Candied jalapeños are a sweet and spicy condiment that goes great on just about anything especially if it lives inside 2 pieces of bread. You may want to make extra cause these go quickly!!!
Ingredients 
- 
1-1/2 lbs. jalapeños
- 
3 cp sugar
- 
1-1/2 cp cider vinegar
- 
1-1/2 tsp turmeric
- 
1-1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 
6 cloves garlic sliced
- 
chili flakes if so desired
Directions
- 
Bring to a boil sugar and vinegar. Cook until rich syrup. Add spices and garlic and cook for a minute.
- 
Add jalapeños and cook about 4 min until peppers are browned slightly.
- 
My peppers were pretty hot, so I didn’t add any chili flakes to this.
- 
Pour contents into jars. I’m placing mine in the fridge, so I didn’t process my jars. If you wish to do so make sure and follow proper canning guidelines.
