Peach, Bourbon and Brown Sugar Ice Cream

Beat the heat this summer with a scoop of my homemade Peach Brown Sugar & Bourbon Ice Cream! 🍑🍦 This sweet and boozy treat combines ripe peaches, rich brown sugar, and a splash of bourbon for a truly Southern delight. Perfect for those hot summer days in Boudreaux's Backyard!

Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 oz bourbon

Directions:

  1. Peel, pit, and slice the peaches. Place in a sauté pan with the brown sugar and cook for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from the stove and add the bourbon. Reduce until a thick syrup forms.
  3. Add the heavy cream to a blender and blend for 30 seconds to lightly thicken the cream.
  4. Add the peaches with syrup, evaporated milk, and condensed milk. Pulse several times to incorporate the ingredients.
  5. Place the mixture into small containers and allow it to cool in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  6. Churn the ice cream for 20-25 minutes. Remove from the machine and allow it to harden in the freezer to your desired consistency.
