Smoked alligator sausage, grilled to perfection, topped with buttery beer-simmered onions and peppers, and finished off with Blue Plate Mayo, Creamy Cocktail Sauce, and Creole Tartar Sauce for that extra kick. Ingredients:
- Smoked alligator sausage
- Large buns
- Blue Plate Mayo
- Blue Plate Creamy Cocktail Sauce
- Blue Plate Creole Tartar Sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
- 1 stick butter
- 1 beer (your choice)
- Favorite toppings (pickles, jalapeños, etc.)
Directions:
- Preheat the Grill: Set up your grill for direct cooking and light it up.
- Grill the Sausages: Place alligator sausages on the grill and brown them on all sides until cooked through.
- Sauté the Veggies: In a separate aluminum pan, melt the butter. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Place the pan on the grill and cook until the onions and peppers begin to soften.
- Simmer in Beer: Once the sausages are browned, place them into the pan with the onions and peppers. Pour in the beer and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the onions are tender and caramelized.
